One of the greatest gifts we can give to every Generation Z teenager is a mentor who passionately responds to God’s calling to mentor — someone with strong competence to usher, equip, guide, and support young people in reaching their highest potential according to God’s purpose for their lives on earth.
Based on the findings of the 2024 survey “The Spirituality Expression of Christian Teenagers in Indonesia” conducted by Bilangan Research Center (BRC), the presence of a mentor is a key factor that significantly influences the spiritual growth and life dynamics of teenagers. Mordecai Mentoring Institute (MMI) envisions a future where every teenager has a mentor who is passionate, competent, and God-fearing.
Our Program
Our programs are designed to equip mentors with the competence, insight, and heart needed to build authentic and trust-filled relationships with their mentees. Our programs go beyond developing mentoring skills — they focus on character transformation toward Christlike character, empowering young people to become mentors to others, and building thriving youth communities.
Grounded in biblical principles and shaped by approaches relevant to Generation Z, we prepare mentors to respond to the challenges of today with integrity, compassion, and a vision that extends beyond themselves.

Youth Mentoring Certificate | December 11, 2024
The first MMI training was successfully conducted on December 11, 2024, hosted by JKI Citarum. A total of 50 participants — including Unleashed SQA (mentors), school teachers, and children and youth ministry workers — took part in Part 1 of the training, which was delivered over a full 8-hour session.
