At MMI, we believe that God can use anyone who has the heart and passion to become a mentor for young people. Our role at MMI is to equip you for this calling.

Therefore, we invite every church, educational institution, and ministry organization to partner with Mordecai Mentoring Institute. Together, we can become the answer to the needs of today’s youth—so that every Christian teenager in Indonesia has an adult mentor in their life.

Praise the Lord, at the beginning of 2026, Mordecai Mentoring Institute was entrusted with the opportunity to serve and bless Sentani, Papua. A total of 34 participants joined this training, demonstrating great enthusiasm as they learned to become effective youth mentors. This training was especially meaningful, as three of the participants were teenagers we had mentored for several years through the Unleashed program. In 2025, these three young leaders were sent as Papua’s representatives to the Teens Leadership Summit, and this year, they stepped forward to become mentors for other young people.

A total of 35 participants from various churches across Jakarta—and even some from outside the city—gathered with one shared passion: to build the next generation. Most of them were youth ministry workers, while others were university students with a heart to serve the younger generation.

Through learning sessions, discussions, and meaningful fellowship throughout the event, they were equipped and strengthened to return and serve young people in their respective communities.

The first MMI training was held on December 11, 2024, with JKI Citarum as the host. A total of 50 participants consisting of SQA (mentors) Unleashed, school teachers, and child/youth activists in the church participated in the training part 1 which lasted for 8 full hours. While the second part of this training is planned to take place in February 2025.
